Be the first to walk the new road

The Heysham to M6 Link Road scheme is opening up its doors for charity on Sunday 26 April 2015.

The project team are hosting a “Welly Walk” designed to show the community exactly what’s happening on site and how construction of the new road is being delivered, whilst raising money for a well-established local charity St John’s Hospice, and The Costain 150 Challenge.

Starting at 2pm from Lancaster & Morecambe College, the walk is 4km long and we will be stepping our way along exactly where the new link road is going to be.

Along the route there will be huge diggers, giant bridges and one of the biggest crane's in Europe! We will have informative marshals along the route with exciting facts about the new road.

A muffin and hot drink will await you at the end of the walk and a coach back to the start. There won't be another opportunity to do this walk, so sign up NOW! A fantastic family day out!

Adult = £10  Children = £7.50  Family of 5 (maximum 2 adults) = £30
